Hanami Uzumaki

From NaruSaku Wiki
(Redirected from Uzumaki hanami)

Hanami Uzumaki is a fan made character derived from the Naruto franchise. Hanami is the second most widely known child of Naruto and Sakura. Her exact origin currently unknown, but she quickly sprang to popularity around the same time as Shinachiku.

Profile

Personality

Hanami's personality varies, but there are a few clear traits that are shared among most of the fandom. Hanami is often depicted as a 'papa's girl' and shares Naruto's goofy light-hearted demeanor. She's mischievous like her father and temperamental like her mother. Another common trait is her admiration for her older brother Shinachiku (in combinations where Shinachiku exists and he is the older child).

Appearance

Her appearance varies greatly, but she is usually depicted with pink hair and blue eyes. Her hair is arranged in many different ways, but more often than not, she has two ponytails and some kind of hair pin in her hair. Her clothes are usually an arrangement of red, maroon, yellow, or green.

Background

Because of her impatience, she is unable to properly learn medical ninjutsu or the yin seal like her mother or her older brother Shinachiku. She prefers bombastic attacks even though she does not have nearly as much chakra as her father. Some fans theorize Hanami was able to learn her grandfather Minato's Flying Thunder God technique and uses it with ease.

Recently, the NaruSaku fandom came to the conclusion that unlike her older brother Shinachiku, Hanami gains a great desire to become Hokage someday. While in training, Hanami saw with her own eyes how her father's message of peace spread throughout the world and improved peoples lives. When her father's mission is threatened, Hanami vows to uphold her father's legacy and continue spreading peace. She assumed Shinachiku would not support her dream, but to her surprise, Shinachiku is very supportive of her and promises to help her in any way he can.

People speculate that while she may or may not became a toad sage like her father, grandfather, or Jiraiya, she will create her own sage-like cloak that has sakura petals instead of flames.

Relationships

Naruto Uzumaki

The relationship between Hanami and her father is pretty consistent throughout most fans. Naruto spoils Hanami rotten, resulting in Sakura needing to be the stern parent of the two

Sakura Haruno

The relationship between Hanami and her mother has not been explored as much as Naruto. Sakura is seen as being very caring and motherly with her daughter, but it is implied that she is the one that keeps Hanami’s recklessness under control since Naruto is rarely the one to be stern with her.

Shinachiku Uzumaki

In interpretations where Shinachiku is her older brother, Shinachiku is very fond of her, as expected. Shinachiku is often viewed as a good brotherly influence on her, but also a bit of a pushover by easily giving in to her schemes and desires. In that way, Shinachiku is not unlike his father.

She is viewed as very protective of her brother, so much so, she tends to chase away girls who annoy him, knowing that he is too nice to tell them to go away himself. She believes her brother is oblivious to love and romance and vets all his friends who are girls to save him of the trouble, though he insists he doesn’t need her assistance.

Arashi Uzumaki

Arashi is sometimes depicted as Hanami’s younger brother. She constantly teases him and his grumpiness, but she’s a protective older sister and always defends him from bullies and tends to dote on him.

Hanako Uzumaki

In a few interpretations, Hanami and Hanako are twin sisters. Hanako is viewed as the more rowdy one of the pair.

Shikamaru Nara

Shinachiku Kosen

Although Hanami was crossing her fingers for someone like Ten Ten to become her sensei, Shikamaru was assigned to her instead. Due to their wild differences in personality, the two often clash, leaving Shikamaru tired and Hanami begging Naruto for a new sensei.

Nomenclature

Hanami" (花見) is a traditional Japanese custom of viewing the flowers of the cherry blossom trees. It can be assumed that her name was a play on her mother's name, Sakura, which means "cherry blossom".
