Naruto Uzumaki is a character in the Naruto franchise.
Profile
For most of the NaruSaku fandom, his fanon counterpart is not very different from his canon iteration except for a few changes:
- Although he is as fervent as ever to set Sasuke on the right path, Naruto acknowledges the wrongs done to Sasuke by the village and justice for Sasuke becomes a part of his goal
- He does not grow to admire or thank Obito after the crimes against humanity he’s committed.
- He gets the opportunity to confess his feelings for Sakura shortly after the final battle against Sasuke.

Although Naruto and Menma were both named after ramen toppings by Jiraiya, their personalities are arguably very different. Influenced by Minato’s calmer nature and his mother’s strictness towards his studies, Menma is calm, cool and collected most of the time.

Naruto maintains the majority of his characterisation from canon within this universe, however there are key differences to his upbringing, relationships and even minor changes to his personality.
Instead of being an orphan who mostly raised himself, this Naruto was raised as the youngest child of Minato and Kushina. He has an older sister, Kurama, who is brash and loud with a devilish sense of humour. His childhood was much happier with not only his parents and sister in his life, but also Minato’s parents, Jiraiya and Tsunade also being key features in his upbringing. He also has at least two uncles, an aunt and a cousin among many other relatives.
While this Naruto meets the majority of his canon friends within the story, he has previous relationships with Kakashi Hatake, who is akin to an older brother, along with Obito Uchiha and Rin Nohara. He has also previously dated Tayuya through high school though they split amicably once they decided to go to different universities.
Though his background is different from canon and he is noticeably calmer and more sure of himself, he is still the same Naruto, who wishes to do things to make his family proud and his friends happy. His dream in this world however is not to be a political or military leader, it’s to be a bestselling author just like his world famous and very wealthy grandpa, Jiraiya Namikaze.
However predominately his focus within the space of the story is on his love life. Perhaps the most significant change to his personality within this universe.
Naruto is currently enrolled at Konoha University as a first year of a Writing and Literature degree.
