Profile

Not much is known about Kushina other than she is a member of the Uzumaki clan and in some point in time, fell in love with Minato Namikaze. Kushina died when Kurama was extracted from her body and soon after she was impaled by Kurama's claw protecting newborn Naruto.

Personality

At a young age, Kushina moved to Konohagakure to be used as a vessel for Kurama. In school, she had a hard time getting along with many of the students and was bullied for her red hair that made her look like a tomato. Kushina fought back against her bullies and gained the nickname "Red Hot-Blooded Habanero". Despite her ability to defend herself against bullies, Kushina grew to hate her red hair.

At some point in her youth, Kushina was kidnapped by ninja from Kumogakure interested in her unique and powerful chakra. While most shinobi from the village were unable to track her, Minato managed to find and rescue her. While Kushina previously thought of Minato as wimpy and weak, her opinion changed and she soon fell in love with him.

Appearance

Kushina has long red hair that nearly reaches the floor in certain panels. Her eyes are a blue-violet and her face greatly resembles her son. Her face is noticeably round. When she was younger, she was made fun of for her round face and shocking red hair, earning her the nickname tomato.
